Vintage Sony TCM-919 cassette recorder, deconstructed and rehoused in a new handcrafted enclosure. The new enclosure modernises the look and improves usability, and an added variable speed control opens up experimental playing and sound manipulation. The recorder brings together industrial design, mechanical engineering, and electronics.
